The Irrigation areas layer builds on the Australian Irrigation Areas, Version 1a (dataset published by the former National Land and Water Resources Audit in 2001) and an unpublished update to this dataset by the former Bureau of Rural Sciences in 2006. Recent improvements made by the Bureau of Meteorology include adding extra areas in Western Australian and Tasmania, and updating the names.<\/SPAN><\/P><\/DIV><\/DIV><\/DIV>",
