National <\/SPAN>Information<\/SPAN> Locations used in delivering the Bureau's flood warning service. <\/SPAN>Selection of <\/SPAN>Information<\/SPAN> locations<\/SPAN> and associated metadata<\/SPAN> from the Bureau's<\/SPAN> flood gauge network hydrological database.<\/SPAN><\/P> Information locations are those gauges which have a Flood Class Level (FCL) of minor, moderate and major flooding. They are in place in SLS in Schedule 3 for each state and territory. SES and <\/SPAN>the <\/SPAN>community use them for flood preparedness and impacts. In flood forecasting they are used in referencing for some catchments in warnings as well in some states.<\/SPAN><\/P><\/DIV><\/DIV><\/DIV>",
